Does the Ionic Breeze work to get smoke smell out of the house? (or) any idea on what purifier does work best?

the "ionic breeze" as seen on TV does nothing (can announce to my SIL's experience with one). An ozone generator will vocation, but you can't run it at a very high setting if there are people or pets in the lodgings, or at least be on another floor if you can.
They are kind of expensive but they work.
You could possibly clear the building (home?) of living things (I characterize as plants and fish would be O.K. to leave), and then really batter it with the generator on high for as long as you can, then keep it on at it's lowest setting.

Is the Ionic Breeze the best air cleaner?
Nov 01, 2008 by sharen d | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
My husband will not smoke case so I need a good air cleaner that will not be too expensive and calmly on the electric bill.Any information will be helpful.Thanks.
Well my ionic breeze is high-priced but only uses 11 watts, and this captures tainting, soot, cigarette smoke, dust, but I suggest that if you have asthma, you use a hepa weed out as well.

Do any of you own an Ionic breeze?

Can any of you helper me to clarify if this thing really works? Does it indeed get rid of cigarette smoke or any bad smells like it claims to?
Yes, I own one and I can recognize you that it not only does a poor job at cleaning the air, it also produces an Exceedingly Large amount of Ozone! That "sweet whiff", that they talk about, is toxic and over time can at the end of the day mess You up. It also breaks down anything that is rubber or latex in the leeway.. so if You have a favorite pair of sneakers, don't keep it in the same scope as the Ionic Breeze! I'm telling You this from Personal Experience, with their "Top of the Line of work" model.

Does anyone have any experience with the Ionic Breeze Air Purifier..(any brand).?
Jul 15, 2006 by Dee | Posted in Other - Home & Garden
I'd be in the seventh heaven to hear if they really purify the air being it smoke filled air (cigarettes) or otherwise. What brands can you support for good purification of inside air?
Last year a co labourer and I did alot of reading in consumers guides and online. I ended up with a fan powered hepa seep. The ionic air cleaners take out somewhat smaller particles, but in sealed lodge tests they could not outdo the hepa filter variety air cleaners at cleaning the whole volume of the room. -- You'll respect they advertise how much stuff you find on the vanes, but not what percentage of contamination they can distance from the air. The Ionic cleaners without fans aren't much use around dogs that flake off, my coworker found. The links below are not the original ones I adapted to when researching, but the info is similar.
