Ionic Breeze. A REAL consumer review?

My groom and I are looking to purchase the Ionic Breeze. I really like the philosophy of no filters. I would however like to ask for some honest opinions before we overstate this purchase. Does it actually work like it says it will? How about that but Bathroom Ionic Breeze? Does that really work? Do you think that 1 would be enough to overspread the whole house or would we need a few of them? If you have purchased one of these or have any experience with one please let me be informed your thoughts. Thanks!

I have always had lousy allergies and have suffered with constant sinus infections, crippling allergy affliction, etc. Constant sinus infections to the point where they would commonly up-end into severe respiratory infections.

The ionic breeze changed my biography.

I'm no longer sick all the time.

One fad I have noticed, though, is that you need to clean it more than once every 2 weeks. I clear mine every 3 days or so but, I could go as long as 5 - 7 days. I also have 3 cats which might be contributing to this.

I would in principle have 2 of these for my 2 bedroom apartment, one for the master bedroom and one for the notify living area.

Why does my ionic breeze seem to be losing it's effectiveness at eliminating odors?

I've had my two ionic breezes for over 2 years now and even though they still nab airborn particles the smell is increasingly bad by the catbox - it acquainted with to work better. I tilt it up and down several times to reactive it like I've been encouraged to do but the foetor is not getting better and it's sitting inches away from the sedan chair box? The small one in the bathroom got better after I tilted it up and down to make the inner compartments move up and down several times. Ideas?
I regularly out the collection area - so that is NOT it.

There are three doable causes.

!) Overload. There is more odor being generated than there tolerant of to be and the thing can't handle the increased pile.

2) Cleaning and 3) low voltage. (related causes)

Essentially, these are electrostatic precipitator units. They do not truly filter odors out the air (If there is a filter, the filter hardly removes the bigger particles, ones big enough to see), but effort by applying a charge to the tiny particles that obsolete through a set of wires and the particles then pass beween charged plates which invite the charged particles, trapping them on the surface of the gatherer plates. This causes a layer to form after a while which acts like an insulator which reduces the effectiveness. Principally, this will be very sticky after a while from oils in the air from things like using a frying pan. In addition, if the power supply voltage drops, it also limits the effectiveness. Either way, fewer particles are unruffled per unit time as the plates get dirtier and/or the voltage drops for some think rationally. The reason for a voltage drop could be something as simple as cool particles eventually providing a semi-conductive avenue from the ionizer section to the collector section or the power delivery could be failing. The power supply is designed for very apex voltage at very low current. Any path for electrons jumping the plates will have a bountiful effect at lowring the voltage.

Reaally BIG units which business on the same principle of collecting particles by using a fixed electrical charge are used in some smoke stacks to Medicine set particulate matter leaving the stack and break off or have reduced effectiveness for exactly the same reasons.

ionic breeze ionizes the air too much?

I have been told that is one of the complaints about the ionic breeze, but I have no construct what that means. Someone checking the air in our house (we thought we had mold) told us to put it in the bathroom because we have mold there, but nowhere else in the household. He also said that we shouldn't leave it operation all the time because it will ionize the air too much.

Truly, ionic breezes create ozone, which is harmful to people.

The guy was properly, though - you really only need to run it an hour per day, if that.

I have so much dust! Whats your opinion on the Ionic Breeze air filtering system?

I'm 20 years old. I business full time + I am a full timecollege student living at where one lives stress - however my bedroom is more like a dorm room/trifling studio appartment. I have small siblings (Ages 5,7and8) and regrettably they dont respect my property (I guess its well-deserved a sibling thing) ..so ALL my stuff is kept in my bedroom (EVEN MY CAT!) ...

You're quite thinking its terrible, but my bedroom is quite charitable. I have 2 large walk in closets and a bathroom. It really is more like a studio appartment minus the caboose.

PROBLEM = DUST! I think maybe becuase I have so much talents, it creates more dust. I often go through my things and get rid of things i dont want/dont use. The other thing is that my bedroom door is always closed - I have 3 overweight windows in here, and we have central air - but i dont think that the air state of affairs is as good as it would be if my door was opened more of the time.

I dust EVERY WEEKEND. It takes me about 4 hours to dust my bedroom!
Every week there seems to be MORE dust (And cat fraction!) than the week before.

I told my boyfriend how i feel like so much of my weekend is wasted dusting! (But I have to do it - i CANT alight with dust. It makes me feel congested and foul) and he mentioned the ionic breeze. He said you put it on and it sourt of sucks in dust and dander and other foul things from the air.

I DO have an airfilter thing in my bedroom. Its Monumental and takes up a LOT of space - I run it about every day but i notice that when i DONT run it - the air supremacy stays the same.

(And i dont use a regular duster, i use out away dusting cloths (usually swiffer) so that i'm not well-founded pushing dust around)

ANY suggestions/advice/products would be Unreal.

I have an Ionic Pro, but I have been foiled. It fails to meet many of the claims. It is shut up in my bedroom the dust is not surely affected. It makes noises about every three days and needs to be cleaned. Cleaning is not naughty but the plates need to air dry for 24 hours. Of execution, you can purchase an extra set. It is expensive for no more than it helps. I also have a Bionaire hepa purify that is similar in size and makes a huge dissension in air quality and dust. Good Luck in the war on dust!

  • Silent Circulation. Air circulates with no fan, no motor and no noise. Breathe cleaner air as you sleep in peace, enjoy music, watch a movie or share a quiet conversation.
  • Odor Neutralizing. Replace cooking, bathroom or pet odors with air that smells fresh and clean.
  • Continuous 24/7 Cleaning. All air cleaners should run 24/7 - but noise and high energy costs make that impractical with typical HEPA machines.
