Yellow water in honeywell humidifier?
Dec 20, 2007 by Demon | Posted in Other - Home & Garden
I recently acquire a honeywell humidifier hwm-2000 and its been running fine the last week but today i noticed that the dishwater in the tank is yellow and the tanks about half full ...... whats up with that
It common-sense like you have iron in your water. You should get something to put in your water to keep it good. Wal-Mart has many of these water conditions go check them out. If the bath-water smells I would replace it. Good Luck

Trane XV90 furnace and Honeywell 24V Humidifier?
Feb 13, 2006 by utstud123 | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I have an XV90 gas furnace made by Trane and am tiring to hook a 24V Honeywell humidifier to it. My circuit board only seems to have a 110V HUM cheap connection and no hot. I could wire from the main hot but in testing it, the HUM-N circut is liable/on even when the heat/fan is off. I want the humidfier just to penetrate on when the heat/fan is running. I could hook it to the thermostat wires (W/C) but I impute to a post that this could damage the system. What's the best way to wire it and why do they only have a HUM general connection?
I'd really prefer not to put in a canvas switch. I could do a A50 relay or something. However, my furnace is nearly new and has a HUM wire and should be capable. I just don't understand how it's theoretical to be wired.
you should be talented to get a transformer from 120 down to 24 volts and catch it up off the curciut board than to your humdifier
