I've puzzled the manual to my little Holmes humidifier. I forgot what it said, or if it did, about adding scented oils in the liberally. Does anyone know if this would be alright to do without messing up the filter, or whatever?
What you can do is set a trifling cup above the steam outlet, not blocking the vent, and that lets you get the perceive without worrying about the other components. (If yours has a "remedy cup" already there, just use that.)
