How to lights the burner for Lennox G61MP Series Heating System?
Aug 23, 2007 by wolf119 | Posted in Other - Home & Garden
I exactly bought new home and the Gas Heater (Lennox G61MP) Ignition Restraint is not lighting up. Is there a way I can manually light the burner?
The Navigate is off. I need to light that up but I can't find it anywhere.
Directions say NOT to manually light burners.

Hope this helped.

I have a lennox heat and air electric .Heat blows cold air most of the time. Why?
Jan 29, 2008 by shel r | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
Its a split part with the heat system in my attic and the fan and stuff outside. And the air that comes from the vents blows keen most of the time when on heat. The air also barely comes out of my vents. Also my predicament heat doesnt not work. When I turn it on it throws the breaker. Please Cure!!!!
You have several problems. Thermostat delays are set improperly causing the clandestine air handler to blow air too long. You may also be low on Freon.
Pinch heat problem is potentially dangerous, so have a technician conform it. Could be more heat strips installed than breaker can manipulate, but could be worse.
Lack of sufficient air blowing out of vents could be a debilitate, tear, or other opening in your air supply duct industry. Also, re-balancing , by opening and closing various vents may workers. Again, probably need a technician.

Central Heating Problem?
Dec 21, 2008 by NiNii | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
We have an lennox important heating system and it seems to not be working...
When I turn on the heater all it does is keep igniting and no fire goes up?
It keeps difficult to iginite but it seems as like there is no gas in the heater or if there is its not igniting? I can see the ignite light-hued but nothings happening.. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
But no one has ever touched the gas come up with line.It just happened today..
on the compass board there should be LED lights that will blink, stay off or interruption on, the combination will tell you what fault there is, look mingy to the board or on the cover you take off for a chart to tell you what the boo-boo means. and if you see the ignitor glowing red then it sounds like the circles in the valve that opens the gas is bad. try this link for more info
http://www.arnoldservice.com/Troubleshooting_Heating_Problems.htm
or search "troubleshooting furnace"
if no one touched the provisioning line then it sounds like the solenoid (the electrically controlled gas valve)... tapping it with a bolt driver may work, but like said below, it will only last so want.

Rinnai vs boiler for heat- which is better?
May 27, 2007 by dn6985 | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I have to take over from my Lennox complete heat system. I previously posted asking about a Rinnai perpetual heat system but I have been advised that the Rinnai is not really designed as a means to pronounce hot water for heating. I've been told that a boiler system is the greatest way to go- but more expensive. Do people agree with this? And if so, what experience is there with the Luna boiler vs the Trinity Ti boiler.
I have a elated velocity system.
Rinnai is NOT meant for a heating system. It is meant for hot deuterium oxide supply only. It would burn up the system and if it didn't do that it would be very costly to run. I have installed these systems and they are not cheap by any means. The boiler is more high-priced but it will work longer and you will get youre moneys' good. Good luck

Rinnai Continuous Flow Water Heater- Any Experience with it?
May 17, 2007 by dn6985 | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
Can anybody let me identify the experience with these heaters. I have a ductless heating system and have to run my furnace either with a combo piece like this or with a separate boiler and water heater. The boiler/weaken heater combo is about $3000 more expensive. I had heard that this unceasing flow water heaters had problems although they have been second-hand in Europe for years. Any comments from those familiar with my setup.
Settle now, I have a Lennox complete heat system- the biggest piece of engineering refuse I've ever seen- and a source of endless suffering!
I have installed 10-15 Rinnai tankless heaters and two of them casing. I recommend putting the small electrical pale on a backup battery or generator so that if you lose power during arctic months the small amount of pipes won't drive away outside.
They work very well, and ive never had a problem with any of the ones Ive installed.
