I am all in all a more efficient heating system. I would like to know how much this cost.Ive looked all over the internet with no fortunes. If you could give me a ballpark range I would appreciate it.
I don't have geothermal system but I certain others that had installation at $10000-$15000. It depends on land plot size and soil conditions. The systems both fever and cool, and are lower cost to run than propane or oil.

How much is it to install a Geo Thermal heating/cooling system?

I'm talking about the network of pipes people have begun to invest underneath their houses in order to heat and cold their houses. I understand the concept behind it and how it works, but how much are these systems to connect? What are the criteria for these systems? How efficient are they? Do they match up to heating oil or electrical?
These systems are much more operative and much more expensive to install than oil, and of course even way way much more than electric.
However, there are 2 advantages. 1. You can resources these systems in your mortgage and take a tax deduction for them. 2. They are way cheaper to handle.
If you are going to be in your house a long time (10 years or more) than it is exemplary. Otherwise, forget it or wait for the technology to improve or become cheaper.

The outlay is actually not that high so don't get scared off by estimates for clone or triple the cost. Many of the homes in Finland use geothermal systems that use hooch as the heat transport. A friend who just installed a system in his new current in said it cost about 4000 EUR (not including labor.)
You can find a lot of answers at http://www.geoexchange.org.

geo thermal heating efficiency?

Composed is a 1970's ranch with cement poured walls. The only heating is nonconformist baseboard electric so there is no duct work. Is it bring in effective or possible to install geo thermal heat system? The dirt is sandy and the only moisture is a swamp 500 feet to the southeast of the race.
I have Geo thermal installed in my assembly when I built it 15 years ago. 2400 sq ft 2 item . I love it. You need duct work in the business, like you would do with a furnace. When I built I was told if unadorned gas was available to go with a standard furnace. I live in the rural area so I tried it. Your well has to be big enough for it to work. I think it would be very costly to add it to a contain.
What about adding a wood furnace?
