are propane patio heaters safe to use inside a large concrete block building?

We have a large flat we are trying to heat in an adobe block barn. The margin is 80 X 40 and quite drafty. Would it be strongbox to use a propane heater in this room for heat, the kind they use on patios for casing dining?
I would meditate on so as long as nothing flammable is right near it. But i would be chary and check with some propane professionals.

How can unvented propane heaters be allowed and safe for indoor use, but not bedrooms (sleep is only 8 hours)?
Feb 19, 2006 by SoxWin | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I keep hearing that unvented propane heaters are unsafe for bedrooms because of carbon monoxide, etc., but why are they OK to use indoors, but only not bedrooms?
P.S. - I have a carbon monoxide detector that plugs into the try.
All propane heaters frame carbon monoxide as a biproduct of the combustion procedure. Carbon monoxide is deadly and can kill you, by imparing the bloods skills to absorb oxygen. There are many symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning, including headaches and nausea. If you are sleeping those symptoms could go mostly unseen and you simply won't wake up. When you are awake you will attention the symptoms and realize (hopefully) that something is wrong. Establishment instructions for many of these appliances don't just restrain bedrooms, but any area with a bed in it.
Unvented Natural gas and propane heaters, have been banned in many areas of the U.S. and almost everywhere in Canada. Where they are allowed, they are equipped with safeness switches to shut them down, if Carbon Monoxide levels get too strong.
In short they are not allowed in bedrooms because there is a chance someone could die.

propane heaters sold in Maine?

These propane heaters only fire 1 gal of fuel per 5 hours. Does anyone know the manufacturers name. They are extensively used mostly up in Maine.
Propane has 96,000 BTU in each limpid gallon. Therefore you look at the BTU of the heater. Most likely you are referring to the brilliant wall mounted inverted type. They are 99.9 % economic.

Out of these two types of propane (LP) Heaters which one would put out less moisture in the air?
Dec 22, 2007 by Chuck | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
Despondent flame vent free OR Radiant articulate free style.. We own a concrete home and I am active about the extra moisture that burning propane emits.
most proclaim free heaters have an access in the back or side of it to install a vent allowing vapor to walk out on. I would suggest venting but mostly due to the level of co they put in the air safety first then badger about the moisture.blue flame is higher.
