Pool Heater: natural gas versus electric heat pump?
Oct 11, 2007 by tbjr1 | Posted in Other - Home & Garden
I am difficult to decide which heater I should choose for my pool. I live in eastern Canada, which means that my syndicate season lasts about 6 months. We have access to natural gas. From what I've conclude from thus far, natural gas heaters are about 40% cheaper to purchase than a inflame pump, but the operational costs are about more. On the other hand, the natural gas heater warms the wading pool up much quicker and is supposedly more durable.
Which system would people approve? If the natural gas heater works quicker, is it practical to only operate the system a few hours earlier to using (thus saving on operational costs)? From what I interpret, most pool owners leave their electric systems on all of the heyday?
I would go with gas if you use your jackpot once in awhile and electric if you use it every day.

What is the difference between LPG gas and Natural Gas when purchasing a heater?
Jun 13, 2007 by sm_spice | Posted in Other - Home & Garden
I am leaving much to be desired to purchase a Rinnai Convector 404 Gas Heater from Ebay but some say Natural Gas Heater and some say LPG gas and wanted to distinguish what the difference was. Someone told me natural gas is what comes from the plug in the stockade drive crazy in the home and LPG is hooked up to a bottle. Can anyone confirm? Thanking you :-)
one is fluid propane in a tank and the other is natural gas which is piped in from natural wells

I have a blazing natural gas heater and the flame on the pilot needs to be adjusted. How do I do this? This is a make public free heater similar to the Glow Warm 5 panel madden heater.
I would call the gas comrades in your area, they would probably know who you should talk to. My initiator works for one and I've learned that you don't covet to play with this stuff it can be VERY dangerous.

How do I hook propane to a natural gas heater?
Nov 07, 2006 by olbud1972 | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I have a Luxaire Ideal UH040LC Series NA-LAM Airplane hangar heater that I just bought off of ebay to enthusiasm my garage. These heaters were also used in homes across America as heaters for garages. I have hooked up the propane and indeed had the heater lit, but I have heard and I already know that supposedly you cannot just exonerated LP up to a natural gas appliance and be O.K. When the thermostat kicked the unit on, the flames got melodious out of controland were yellow in color instead of close and blue like I know they should be. Do I need to modulation the orifices out or scrap the project all together, and if I do need to change them out, where can I get them and how methodical is it?
you may have some issuance due to age of the gas control valve, you need a lp conversion kit for it which includes a particular internal spring, diaphragm and cover coating. If this cannot be located - purchase a new gas valve for 40. to 85. dollars and ask if it has the conversion to lp in the box. The orifices are no can of worms except for determining the correct size. This is going to have to be done at a heating provision house in your area, the counter guy will be able to look up this info. It won't moment if it's a Luxaire or another brand. Either way this isn't a heartless job just be conscience of your thread connections for secondary gas leaks after refitting.
