electric heaters?
Feb 06, 1942 by Swista | Posted in Decorating & Remodeling
My gratis has electric hot water heaters. There is one wall that i would like to tear down and another that i would like to put in sliding doors. BOTH have heaters on them. Any suggestions on how to cheaply and simply move them?
to move the heater you demand to re-route the wire to the ew location. sometimes they can be fed from either side. you may be able to scoot it down by feeding it on the other side.

Do Halogen Heater use more electricity then other electric heaters?
Feb 09, 2008 by Pill Popper | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
Halogen heater seem to fever the room up more then the other electric heaters (oil electric heaters), but do they use more electricity?
Most answerers have missed the inconsequential in reference to, halogen heaters heat by RADIATION, so they make you be sorry for warm quickly,
If you erect a glass barricade between you and the heater it will STILL heat you.
The science.......Radient heaters earnestness people, convector heaters heat air.
The ideal sequence of events is a combination of each type of heat, I believe that is why a cheery unregulated fire in conjunction with central heating makes such a invigorating room.

How to hookup and fuse electric heaters on a 220-volt circuit?
Jul 12, 2008 by PD | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I am wondering how to hookup and consolidate electric heaters on a 220-volt circuit? We currently have a 12-measure wire where both the white wire and the black wire are connected to the live (hot) purvey from the 220 volt breaker at the breaker panel. We are wondering whether or not there are 2 put back (neutral) wires returning to the breaker panel, or possibly these aren't necessary somehow. It is not obvious to us at the import.
Thanks for any advice on this.
Each of those wires has 120V AC on it but 180 degrees out of work in with each other giving you 240V AC across the black and white wires. You do not necessity a neutral in that case but the ground wire is necessary for safety. You are probably connected with a standard 12-2 w/gnd wire and there is nothing wrong with that. It is the same way the oven elements work in your migrate. The exception is there is a neutral wired to the range to give you 120V for the stove top elements and clock, lights, etc.

I failed to announcement that my landlord prohibits the use of electric heaters. I purchased some thermometers and have been placing them around my snug harbor a comfortable. The temperature is averaging between 58 and 62 degrees and I am perishing my tail off.
There is a decided degrees your landlord has to provide for you.It varies from splendour to state. You can call your board of health and they will help you. Or if you have knowledge of a landlord, ask them.
