Are you ineluctable it's a gas heater? I don't think a gas fueled heater as per usual has doors. What is the function of the doors?
Here are links to some websites that shows a category of antique stove types:

I have 2 Moore's Gas Heaters for my Grandmother's old Antique harbour. Has any one information about them ?
Sharon---I alight in the north east and know a bit about the space heaters.
They are freestanding gas fueled heaters that must be vented, that's why you find them by walls. They have a thermostat and when lit you can see the eagerness behind the glass. Some might have a blower but most don't.The heat radiates out of them and, depending on the magnitude can heat a couple of rooms. To get the heat upstairs sometimes a perforate(covered with a grate)was cut above them to allow the heat up.That's the refractory with them-equal heat distribution, the closer to the heater the warmer the scope. That is probably why there are 2 heaters.
I don't know if this helps but if you craving--email me at JJHNKO@aol.com
