I am looking to inaugurate a Geothermal Heat Pump. I am looking for a model that will heat liquid for Radiant Flooring, and then on the upland level I will use heat exchangers for a blower.
Did your invoice crack-up the price of installation and excavation. I am curious to see what I will be hoard by excavating myself. Also, please let me know what type you have? Field, Well, or Pond?
3 times the charge of normal hvac units I have one best pick I ever made.As far as radiant flooring I don't know.Geo thermal units are on average 400% efficient as opposed to98% for your finest normal hvac units.

I have only worked with false air ground source heat pumps. Can you use a geothermal system with hot water/baseboard heat? I dont be aware if the heat pump would get it warm enough?
Yes, it can be done but it takes particular design. For more info, check out http://www.hvac-for-beginners.com/geothermal.html

We are structure a new home and considering a geothermal heat pump. I've read it uses 70% less power to heat, but we will use it mostly for cooling in our hot moist climate. Does humidity have an effect? I've also deliver assign to that a hybrid system would reduce initial cost. Does anyone have any suffer with these systems?
I have one at my lakeshore house, all I can say is EXCELLENT

Do you know anyone who uses a geothermal heat pump for their home heating and air conditioning?

Also known as geoexchange heat pump or organize source heat pump.
How much did it cost them, and how well does it work for them? Do they ever have to extend it with ordinary heating or air conditioning, or is it always plenty, even in the most utmost weather?
I had a geothermal constituent (water to air heat pump)installed in October, 2007. I paid approx $8,000. There has not been any extraordinary weather here in North Carolina, but I don't have a add on system (except for a fireplace (winter) and fan (summer).. This segment was a replacement for water to air heat pump installed when the home was built in 1977. So I have in use accustomed to water to air heat pump system for 30 years and am pleased with the results. You should take asset of the tax credit incentive! My system is GT048HZN STandard low temp Florida Heat Pump, 19EER/ 4.5 c.o.p., 4.0 ton propositional which was connected to EXISTING ductwork and water equipping.

Can a house be heated on one side & cooled on the other on a Geothermal Heat Pump system simultaneously?
Dec 16, 2007 by Peter J | Posted in Engineering
The race has two heat pumps and two 250 ft deep vertical closed eye wells. The only think I don't know is whether or not the wells are unshared to the individual pumps. There are two separate air handlers (two thermostats undeniable controling the air handlers.) I'm wondering if it will injure the system if one pump is run to cool one side of the house for those who like it cold at tenebrousness and the other pump heats the other side of the house for those who like it warm. Thanks!
That should be no mess.
