I want the zealousness pump thermostat to be set on say 65 and the wood furnace to be set on say 70 the wood furnace thermostat only needs to be proficient to control fan.
Wire to R & G on indoor air handler terminals.
You could have a riddle with feed back through the other thermostat bringing on the compressor depending on the thermostat you have for the heatpump.
You may necessity an isolation relay.

Does anyone have an outdoor type wood furnace?

I am in view of an outdoor type wood burning furnace to heat my concert-hall. It is presently heated by oil hot air. If you have an outdoor furnace, has it met your expectations? What compel do you have? How often must you add wood? How much wood do you burn/year? What is the size of your house?
Get yourself a warm up pump about a 18 ceer. the wood stove you are talking about will fritter away a 1/2 truck load of wood a day,and you will need a circumstances to put your ashes everyday the only way you will save money with this stove is if you don't drudgery and have a lot of time to cut wood and keep the fire going and you can't go anywhere because your fire might go out and all your water lines may harden. If you do need to go some place over night or for more than 1 day you will need to employ some one to come to your house and put wood in your stove and take out your ashes. That sounds like to much fun for me, daze yourself out Paul Bunion I admire your drive to set free a little money.
