Does anyone have an outdoor type wood furnace?

I am bearing in mind an outdoor type wood burning furnace to heat my house. It is after a short time heated by oil hot air. If you have an outdoor furnace, has it met your expectations? What make do you have? How often must you add wood? How much wood do you burn/year? What is the assay of your house?
Get yourself a torridness pump about a 18 ceer. the wood stove you are talking about will yearn a 1/2 truck load of wood a day,and you will need a circumstances to put your ashes everyday the only way you will save money with this stove is if you don't toil and have a lot of time to cut wood and keep the fire going and you can't go anywhere because your fire might go out and all your water lines may solidify. If you do need to go some place over night or for more than 1 day you will need to rent some one to come to your house and put wood in your stove and take out your ashes. That sounds like to much fun for me, out yourself out Paul Bunion I admire your drive to retain a little money.

Outdoor wood furnace hotwater heater help?
Jul 25, 2008 by ramrod12579 | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I barely purchased a central boiler outdoor furnace. wondering when hooking up to the piss of superior heater if anyone can tell me if they have problems with it ? I am thinking the tp valve may drop-kick open due to the temperature of the water coming in from the furnace. I am philosophical of hooking up a zone valve on the return side of the twist in the furnace to bypass the coil when heat has ended its call on the thermostat. any ideas of hooking up would be appreciated. Also philosophical of something to turn the fan on when heat is being called for. Please let me know your setup with principal boilers.
Go to www.centralboiler.com and then go to "HOW IT WORKS" on the Nautical port side of the webpage. There are many detailed installation illustrations ready on this website. For more detailed installation illustrations go down to "More exhaustive variations..." Are you using a cartridge/tube side arm heat exchanger? The only way the tp valve will inaugurate is if it fails/faulty or if it is not rated at approximately 200-210 degrees F. Recall, the water from the furnace never mixes with the water in your water heater (i.e. side arm agitation exchanger). The water coming in from the furnace is 165-195 degrees depending on your desired environment. Check your tp valve, there should be a silver round tag on it that tells you what it is rated for in degrees farenheit and this should atone for your question on the valve. I just checked mine and it is rated at 210 degrees F. Sounds like you are also connecting it to an existing stilted air system. If you install the system as recommended, your fan will come on when heat is needed. Fill out c draw up sure to read your owner's guide. You have available to you several tools here, you can also contact the dealer that sold you the furnace or Essential Boiler directly if you have any questions on the illustrations they lend.

I am looking for a circulator draw for an outdoor wood furnace. Its gonna push about 100-120ft. I was told Wilo makes a well-mannered pump that has a two year warranty. I guess what i am looking for is something twin to a Taco 0013 but a better brand.

How do I wire a 2nd thermostat for blower only to my electric system for outdoor wood furnace?
Mar 16, 2008 by iamradtech | Posted in Do It Yourself (DIY)
I necessitate the heat pump thermostat to be set on say 65 and the wood furnace to be set on say 70 the wood furnace thermostat only needs to be expert to control fan.
Wire to R & G on indoor air handler terminals.
You could have a dilemma with feed back through the other thermostat bringing on the compressor depending on the thermostat you have for the heatpump.
You may desideratum an isolation relay.
