Bryant Gas furnace pilot light keeps going out?
Dec 28, 2007 by J179 | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I have a measure older (1997) Bryant gas furnace. Occasionally the pilot match will go out and the furnace will run with non-heated air blowing. I cannot seem to detect any patteren to the rattle-brained going out at all. It has gone out twice in two days but before that it has been over three weeks. Any ideas? As a result of you!
first affair to do is change the thermocouple. sounds like yours is having rhythmical connection issues. you can get one at any home improvement stockpile or neighborhood hardware/appliance store for about 10 bux.

and it doesn't seem to fervour evenly. She's always cold. She's had it serviced and nothing is misuse. They tell her that her house is clean so the filter doesn't get sullied. She has dust on her furniture plus the filter familiar to get dirty when the furnace was new. Could something be wrong with the air intake? Thanks in aid for any help.
I would find another utility man to check the whole system. The person who told her nothing was wrong, undeniable doesn't have his tool belt balanced.

My Bryant gas furnace runs on and off?
Dec 17, 2007 by ericzap | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I have it installed valid last year , when I turned the thermostat on the unit runs for 1 min the shuts off for less that a two secs then runs again for aminute then shuts off again , doing the same rotate all over again , it does not run continuously to build up the desired temperature, I have hot ditch-water running on baseboards, heated by natural gas. Please lend a hand
Sounds like it is either the zeal sensor, or bad ground wire. If this is the first winter is has been through the gas pull up may still be off. Good luck

Bryant furnace (model 589 - combo gas heat/electric cool) not warming in morning after setback?
Dec 02, 2006 by KIRK L | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
My furnace malfunctioned 3 days ago with only unabashed air blowing in AM. Tech came yesterday and replaced periphery board. Everything working fine until this AM. Overnight, I have T-stat setback 3 deg to 65. This AM when t-stat went on, item blows cool air, but no heat. Fan continues to nor'easter cool air continuously. I turn off & on breaker and entity's able to fire back up, heating. I leave the temp at 68 and have no question as unit goes on/off during day. Problem seems to occur overnight when setback temp is employed and in AM, it won't heat up again, but fan continues to blow impertinent air until I reset breaker. Seems like something isn't resetting in AM after setback has been on and furnace struggles to reach the end temp. Any ideas on what's causing this delinquent? Seen other posts regarding sensor prob? Why does entity work if I reset breaker? Any advice is apprec.
Low air abundance. The unit is tripping out on the high limit aegis. I know it's obvious, but is your filter clogged? Or are there too many vents closed off? Refractory to popular belief, closing vents quite doesn't save you any money. The other reaction could be a clogged air conditioner coil obstructing the furnace air rain.
The reason this is not a problem until coming off of setback is that the component has to run longer to warm up the space and if the limit trips 3 times, the segment will not reset itself automatically. As a safeguard Carrier (makers of Bryant) has programmed the in check to keep the fan on in case there is a problem with the burners overheating and to let you be informed something is wrong.
I hate to say it, but you probably did not need a new lodge. If the tech did not hang around long enough to see the unit lapse on high limit, he probably made an assumption about the plank. This was a common problem on York and Coleman (same feature) furnaces made in the late 80s and early 90s that required a new kind of board to be installed.
To check air flow, let the entity run for about 10-15 minutes with a meat thermometer stuck in a sell vent close to the furnace. It should not be more than 55 degrees warmer than the general temp in the house. If it is, you lack air flow.
