Is edenpure heater a good buy and will it save you money?

The heater seen on TV.

My neighbor has one and she's always considerable me how I should get one when I have the cash. She uses it to heat an upstairs bedroom and she showed me her stimulating bills from a year ago and it is about 10% less. It could be due to the heater but the winter hasn't been as heatless either. But the bottom line, comfort wise, is the bedroom is more pleasant.

Has anyone used the edenpure heater advertised on paul harvey?

I had the Sun Look-alike 1500 for a couple of weeks before sending it back.
The disturbed was it simply guzzled the electricity and produced only 140 considerably air, about the same as a $17.00 Milkhouse Heater.
When I tried to heat a minute 11 X 13 foot room from 55 degrees to 65 it took over an hour at full power, I did the same with my 12 year old Pelonis at 500 watts power in lawful 25 minutes.
Lesson learned, at best because it is big doesn't mean it heats big.

does the portable EdenPURE heater work well?

There was a full page ad in the richmond dossier. It said it was on "Paul Harvey Rumour". What does anyone know about it It sounds grievous. New kind of heating technology-- reduces your agitation bill-doesn't get hot enough to burn you. blah, blah, whazzup?

Lawful go to Wal Mart and buy a ceramic space heater for about $40.00 same impact and you will feel a lot better about the price of the power to warm up with it.
The main advantage of either is that they allow you to turn the power heat down a little and just heat the break you are using (bedroom at night or den in the evening, ect.)
Either one uses moving resistance heat for its source and that is still the most expensive hot up per btu that you can buy.

any body have a edenpure heater how much elec. do they use- do they really work-how big are they,weight?

do they absolutely work against walls-how noisy are they-any problems looking to secure a model 1000 is supposed to heat a chamber up to 1000sq ft are they worth the money

I have one that I use in my house office--it's going right now in this lodge. I use it when I am in this room and turn it off when I leave. The impact on my charged bill hasn't been enough that I can really say how much it costs. My bill on the whole fluctuates between 60-70 bucks a month in the winter and it still is. I do keep my gas furnace a few degrees minuscule however, since I have this room heater. I keep mine 6 inches from the wall and the fan is pretty lull--it doesn't bother me. The one I have has a footprint the assay of a phonebook. I'm thinking of getting another for the laundry elbow-room in the basement.
