Also like to spread out the question to a Baxi105 HE boiler
Biasi 28 condening boiler , why = productive low maintainence ,
reliable , more hot water out put than bosh worcester , ( gas on has a deal with bosch ) half the price than bosch,
and quiet , copper tails to rads although hep 2 is ok even-handed cant make it look neat ...

Air lock in Bosch Worcester Combi Boiler?

My alternative other's central heating boiler has broken down. A plumber said it is an air power in the small water tank in it. Looks as though a particular took is needed to release a screw on the side of it. Worcester Boilers covet £180 call out charge! which they haven't got. Is there anything they can do? Does it demand a special tool?
most reasonable plumbers/boiler won't charge that ...
also if its to do with gas, they have to be corgi registered.
probe that before letting them near it..
if its a matter of "bleeding" it like you would a radiator, i can't see how they confirm so much..
try to find a person local who comes recommended+corgi reg'd and not one that was mentioned on rogue traders ;-)
