Does anybody have a Rayburn 480CD gas heatranger cooker/central heating boiler?
Because I do and I've had nothing but desolation from it, Aga/Rayburn and the installers. This thing cost £9000 to fulfil and fit and then it was fitted by monkeys; name and shame I say, Hoad & Taylor, Surrey. They had to come about back and make corrections but I ended up doing the plumbing myself as they manifestly couldn't!
Corgi and a separate installer condemned it as alarmingly leaking fumes into the room.
I t condenses branch water from the exhaust on the cold parts of the cooker during kindly up and Rayburn just sit on their thumbs, 3 months later there it sits sedately rusting away in the kitchen.
Has anybody else had any experiences with the 480CD component? I ask because I am looking to see if this is an isolated case before I haul their arse's through the courts. Thanks.
Consulting the boiler fabricator would be a good place to start and find out if they have had any similar cases article to them, if not then as the above user said consulting trading standards would be aware of if the installers are not " playing ball " You are perfectly within your rights to take constitutional action as the boiler posed serious danger to healthfulness/life.
Did you check that the installing heating engineer was registered as a CORGI fellow ? Anyone carrying out gas work who isnt registered is without a doubt breaking the law.
