I am intellectual of buying a house. The only thing holding me back is the heating beginning. The house has forced air from gas. How much would it cost to install a central heating/cooling system into a 2,300 SqFt to the quick?
Presumably about $8000, but there are many other factors to consider. It could be more or less, and if you get an energy proficient system, you may get a rebate from your state.

Fitting trying to get a very rough ballpark number for what it typically costs to have new central air (heating and cooling) installed in a say 1400 - 1500 sq. ft condo?
Exciting Heat Pump vs. dedicated central air conditioner and basic gas furnace.
I live in Virginia am trying to likeness ballpark cost to replace both original central intensify and air (was electric heat pump).
3 ton entity using existing duct work, in all probability around $3,500 - $4,000 some areas less. Where do you live? These prices would be North Florida. NY Diocese would probably cost a lot more.

Study your filters, Clean your coils. If that doesnt do it then you should call someone. It could be freon or your compressor isn't event.

will running my central heating/cooling blower motor constantly be a good ideal?

It will keep the air circulating, but whole your electric bill will skyrocket and you will wear out a relatively valuable HVAC motor more quickly. If you want to flow air, strategic placement of small fans would be far less costly. I await this helps you.

why doesn't a regular central heating and cooling thermostat work with heat pumps?
Dec 05, 2008 by libbieann94 | Posted in Do It Yourself (DIY)
You could use a uniform thermostat on a heat pump if it weren't for two things, a impassion pump has a reversing valve and uses some assemble of auxiliary heat and both need to be switched by the thermostat. Most guideline t-stats don't do this. Most heat pump t-stats also have an exigency heat setting for when there is a problem with the outdoor item. A lot of the new digital t-stats can be configured to operate either example heat/cool or heat pump systems. I await I've cleared this up for you.
