Worcester Bosch v Vaillant Combi Condensing Boilers?
Aug 27, 2007 by Dave | Posted in Do It Yourself (DIY)
Ok so whats the verdict ? One bedroom spread-eagled looking to change the existing heating/hot not be sensible system for a new combi condensing boiler. There seems to be two clear contenders. Any one protect one more than the other ?
I am partial but I would choose Worcester Bosch, an accredited installer will get you a 5 years assure, and 10 years on the heat cell (activate exchanger), Vaillant had recalls last year on the turbomax and also the Radiance worm (which Vaillant own), both problems were down to Pc boards, which incidentally Vaillant have always had too many of, some of the older Vaillant have 5 pc boards, all valuable. Worcester are made in Warnden, Worcester and have the German Bosch work on (BBT nanotechnology is the name of the company) and they have recently acquired Buderus (humongous in Europe). Either way, make sure you get a dual temperature guide, hot water temp control is not available on all models, but is critical for a fully efficient system.

Vaillant boiler lights up every few minutes and heating comes on when it wants. What is wrong?
Oct 15, 2008 by Anna | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
We have a vaillant boiler which lights up every few minutes, although we do not get hot ditch-water (not hot enough to use the cold tap as well, sometimes it isn't even luke warm). We have set the heating to light on on twice a day, but it just starts whenever it wants. If we direct the heating off at the boiler, it still comes on. Anyone got any idea what is inapt?
Needs the diverter valve replacing.

I have a Vaillant boiler which has come up with the error F75?
Feb 09, 2007 by Yeti | Posted in Do It Yourself (DIY)
It switched itself off and we filled the system with excessively and turned it back on, and now it works but the pressure is a bit high. Anyone differentiate why this error occured out of nowhere? It's a fairly new system, got it installed about 6 months ago and had no problems up to now.
Valliant boiler?ecoTECplus?O.K.this is what my directions says;error code F75"no arm-twisting rise was detected on turning on the pump".Causes, the best quality pressure sensor or/and pump defective.Air in the heating system, perfunctory bleeder defective, too little water in appliance;after adjustable by-pass;connect external augmentation vessel to return. That's what my little register says sorry to hear you have trouble with your heating ordinary we get a cold spell and the boiler plays up in the summer it will be the fridge that goes wonky.

I am having trouble lighting the pilot light on my vaillant boiler. there is a spark but no ignition?
Oct 21, 2006 by DIYER | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
builders took off two radiaters to maquillage. When they replaced them I had no hot water. I played about with the boiler and accidently turned off the shepherd light.
It is an old boiler and I have just moved into the quarter so this hasn't happend before. There is a green button a red button and a Handle that you turn to ignite the pilot. I am guessing its a blend of the green button and the knob.I can hear a very stifled hiss when i press the green button (gas) and I can see a begin when i turn the nob but it fails to ignite the pilot lighter.
What should I do?
Phone the gas supplier in your tract and explain that you have no instructions and give them the exact model of the module if it is shown on the front, eg Vaillant Z82 or whatever. They will not be able to help you unless they grasp this.
Alternately visit them. They may have photocopies of old instructions.
