system 2000 made by drive kinetics is the most efficient and quietest system you can get, but if you have to choose between the two mentioned superlative for sure

Cold water does not return to my boiler. I have to fill it 2 times per day.?
Dec 16, 2007 by Marc R | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I have gas-fired Crown Boiler (c 1991), utilized in a closed heating system. Steam flows to my radiators, however no lukewarm water returns to the boiler from the radiators. As a consequence, I have to fill the boiler twice a day, or more.
If you can't find any leakage in the line then I would say that the problem is in the air vents. They are not shutting off and letting too much steam into the heavens. The steam dondenses and returns to the boiler. The vents should only unfilled for a few seconds to let the air out and shut off. It is not good to add water to the system that much as the boiler will fill up with remains and sludge and have to be blown out. Air vents run about $8.00 and $20.00 for adjustable ones

Can I replace a digital thermostat without turning off the electric power to the house heater?
Nov 27, 2007 by wildmanmoon | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I stimulate my home with a gas-fired hot water boiler (Crown). My digital thermostat is dysfunctional and needs replacing. I've purchased a RiteTemp 7-day programable thermostat be like to the broken one that takes 2 AA batteries. There are 3 wires connected to the old thermostat. Do I demand to shut down the electric power to my heater in sisterhood to replace the thermostat? If I don't, is there danger of electrical give someone a turn or damage to the equipment?
Ok Clearly none of these people has ever changed a thermostat....lol
You don't requirement to turn the power off to change the thing.A thermostat runs on the same amount of power as a a call or doorbell. There is no danger of electricution here. However if you are still skeptical.Go to your furnace and find the deflection that just shuts it off.It will be obvious It is just like a conformable light switch.
Then just follow the directions that came with your thermostat for hooking up the wires bc it is distinguished to get that part correct.
