How good is the Ionic Pro Turbo air purifier?
May 24, 2008 by Randy | Posted in Allergies
I burning in an older house (about 1100 sq. ft.). We have a dreadful mold problem. I've been using a HEPA system, but the filters are $25.00 each, and it takes three of them. I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has occurrence with the Ionic Pro Turbo air purifier, as to how well it performs, or what is the best, affordable, air purification system.
In the meanwhile, I think about I found a better solution. I bought two 20 inch, even, window fans ($15.85 each). Then, I bought two 20X20 3M Ultra Allergen Filterete furnace filters ($15.75 each), and merely put them on the back side of the fan.
Man, does it ever filter. It puts out a lot of air, and the filters contract allergenic particles such as mold, and even smoke. So far, it works proficient. And it sure beats paying $130, for an air purifier, (which is basically neutral a fan with an allergenic furnace type filter on it anyway), and $30.00 for replacement filters!
I at most recently bought the ionic pro turbo. It was about 200 bucks but it works in actuality well. My allergies have gotten a lot better. I mainly got it for my newborn daughter. She was born with a nose predicament and it helps her a lot as well. Good luck!

Ionic air purifier makes room smell and makes me a little nauseous. Should I be worried?
Nov 10, 2007 by internet1136@sbcglobal.net | Posted in Other - Home & Garden
I decent got an ionic air purifier. The brand is Ionic Pro Turbo. I put one in the bedroom and one in the living room. When I got back people's home the room had that smell these things give off (it smells green and clean), but I felt a slight bit nauseous. Not a lot at all, decent a tiny bit, but I noticed it. Is this normal? Does anyone else have face with these things?
I don't like the 'aroma' left behind by these, a sort of bleachy scent but it shouldn't cause any ill effects unless it is putting something else into the air. It is realizable, however, that your body is hyper sensitive and is just letting you be acquainted with something is different.
Some cheap products can 'gas off' releasing formaldehyde or other belligerent chemicals. This is caused by a chemical reaction as the plastics or other man-made materials cure or disintegrate.
If your unit was made in China or some other fatherland with little regulation regarding public salubriousness it is possible you're being poisoned with this chemical distribute. As answerer 1 suggested, try going without it and see if you feel common again. If so return the thing and complain.

Does anyone have any reviews on ionic pro turbo?
May 12, 2007 by Marcas B | Posted in Allergies
I am nice with my allergies even on Claritin or Allegra, until I go outside. Once I get stopped up, there's no curing it. It's perseveringly to sleep, I sneeze constantly once I start, and it's barely misery. I wanted to try and ionic air purifier (ionic breeze), but I looked at this one, and it looks almost identical. Is it worth my money? Do you think it would even help my symptoms?
Thanks for all your better.
you should get all you indeed need

Ionic Pro Turbo Cleaning issues?
Sep 10, 2008 by Miss-taken | Posted in Cleaning & Laundry
I have a 3 month old Ionic Pro ginormous air purifier. It works great and I cleaned it as I should, Recently it told me it needed to be cleaned, so I did, and now when i energize it on, it lights up ON and then goes straight to CLEAN. I cleaned all the blades, even cleaned the thin wire in the back after 4 times of difficult? Any suggestions?
It any part of the gauze insert wet?
Try vacuuming the inside of the device around the contacts that cover the filter insert. I suspect their circle measures the load on the high voltage, and if there's enough dust in there, it might be dragging the voltage down.
