How do i reset the indicator light on my HAP422B Holmes air purifier?! ?
Nov 03, 2008 by Gamecock Girl | Posted in Other - Electronics
I have searched the web to no avail. I even downloaded the instructions on Holmes website but all it says is that some purifiers with an indicator beat are reset by inserting a pin into the reset button. WHERE is the reset button?!?! I have searched by the button, around the button, behind the filters... customary a little crazy now!
Units which have an meter light (HAP243/HAP422) must be reset
once the HEPA pass through has been replaced. Reset indicator by inserting a
peewee object (such as a pin or paperclip) into the hole marked RESET.
There should be a negligible hole marked Reset around the indicator, see image 2 at the attached manual.

I have a Holmes air purifier and the filters are costly, has anyone ever tried cleaning them, any suggestions?

You could try... but it would promising mess up the unit. Don't be cheap and in point of fact buy new ones.

Why is this new air purifier giving me a headache?
Sep 27, 2008 by PlNk pEaRlS | Posted in Allergies
I by a hair's breadth shelled out $110.00 for a Holmes air purifier/ionizer. I've had it running for about 20 minutes and now I have a uncommonly bad headache. Why is that?
My air purifier smells like cigarette smoke. How do I get rid of that smell?

My grandmother gave me her old Holmes air purifier but even with a new HEPA sift it blows out air that smells like cigarette smoke. How do I suitably clean it so that it smells like it's required to?
How do I know if my Air Purifier is working correctly?

I recently purchased a Holmes Accord Air Purifier and I am not sure if its working correctly. It doesn't authorize any sound and it also doesn't blow out air aggressively enough for me to feel. Although the power light is on. Is this how air purifiers are assumed to work?
you have a impaired fan or a blocked filter.
