How do I find how to take apart a air cleaner off a Harley V-rod?

pending the seat like you would to get gas
on the airbox cover that sits where other bikes tanks are, there is a falsify fastener at the rear you turn 90 degrees, deny b decrease it and then slip the "tank" off
the air dribble housing is right there, it's just clips, unsnap them, the garb comes off, and there is your air filter, it's shaped like a cars air colander is

oil blowing out my air cleaner on my 1200 harley sportster. how can i avoid this happening?

it had never done it before until i went on a 500 mile course trip.
All Harleys are known for this complication. I have a 97 Fat Boy. The only time I really noticed it was on the highway or at sharp speed as well. There is a kit that you can get thru J&P Cycle that helps the breather put the oil back into the cylinder. I have not tried this myself but have been meditative about it. I have a K&N air filter on mine, so the original air filter box is no longer toughened. I attached a longer hose to the breather tube and routed it behind the motor and put a insufficient crank case filter on the end. I know this nothing but sends the oil to another place but most of it is caught in the filter.

Have a 2002 Harley 1200 XLC from Calif. (I live in PA) How do I remove CA emission to install new Air cleaner?

Can't invest a new hypercharger, because there is a "canister" on the back of CV carb with a hose? What is this all about, and how do I rub out these parts, to have a standard carb and new air cleaner? Thanks
I have a 2006 Harley Electroglide and when the engine is cold it wants to pop back through the air cleaner?

I use 93 octane nuclear fuel and I replaced the spark plugs
This is sane. Thanks to the tougher emissions standards the bikes are on the spare side as far as jetting. It gets worse if you put on a free flowing air strainer and exhaust with the stock jetting. Also, is the bike nuclear fuel injected? A few years ago Harley used to sell a program that would let you use a computer to transform the fuel curves in the brain box to get rid of the lean persuade. I don't know if they still sell it or not in the Screamin' Eagle catalog.

I want to know if the air filter for a 2003 Harley Davidson 883 Hugger should have oil in it?

I looked at the air cleaner and it is soaked with oil. I cognizant of other motorcycles do that but I didn't know some Harley Models do?
Is it the clich air filter or the screaming eagle? There is no getting around blowby. If you over fill your oil tank you will get oil in the membrane strain. If the bike sits around for awhile and you don not run it you will get blow by. I would start by cleaning it out then go for a delightfully long ride and dont be afraid to ice-free her up on a back road. Its just one of those things. I do find it more common in bikes that are not run on a daily base though.
